Some players of the Major League Baseball are alleged to be using steroids in the games by different authorities. But these suspects are given chance to prove themselves innocent in front of the sovereign judges and authorities as specified by the MLB’s authority.
Regardless of clearing the suspected users name before the decision making panel, Prevailing National League MVP Ryan Braun has been irreversibly made guilty in the open eye of public and media. Braun’s unsuccessful test result was pour out to the public before granting him chance to shield himself by proving himself innocent in front of the independent arbitrator. And the Braun is really not the first one mistreated concerning the confidential problem made by Major League Baseball.
Referenced by several resources, on 1st of October, Braun was asked to present a scheduled urine sample after his last game. After the eighteen days, He was clued-up that his sample contained high levels of synthetic testosterone, which is the rapid muscle growing and energy aiding steroid commonly used. However according to the policies of CBA, the test results should not be made public until Braun had given opportunity for proving himself innocent. Braun certainly chose to appeal the ruling but was dumbfounded when ESPN reported information of his unsuccessful test. The Milwaukee Brewer’s left fielder then directly claims the results as false report and also the violence of confidentiality by MLB of one according to CBA. And Finally Braun won the case by convincing properly the arbitrator that the chain detention of his sample had been broken and a flaw has been created by some authorities. In this way Braun got the decision in his favor by the Arbitration panel.
Now no one knows that either Braun took some steroids or not or what really happened. But what’s most disturbing is the aggression of the confidentiality of famous player by the Commissioner’s office. MLB has exacting procedure that any of the results of the suspect or victim should be first given complete chance to prove his innocence before the independent judiciary. It should be Major Baseball league’s responsibility to conserve the privacy and confidentiality of its players as undoubtedly notified by CBA in its policies. Those been victimized should have complete opportunity to knock over their suspensions by convincing and proving independent arbitrator their virtue and innocence.
After this incident, Ryan Braun on some press conference said that he would not expose the full details of this incident and its respective case just because of considering the confidentiality of the procedure and also due to the best significance of the game.
