Four years have passed since we first started hearing about the involvement of steroids in the Minor leagues. The recent news of Ryan Braun being cleared from his penalty was a breath of fresh air.
After this whole thing finally came to an end, it made many sigh with relief that finally they can move past the anabolic steroid issue in baseball. It made many people sick of hearing it again and again.
It looks like this steroid scam is has been overshadowing all aspects of the baseball game. This is all that comes out of anyone’s mouth who has absolutely no experience in game. It has made everyone doubt all past records as well as accomplishments of the sporting world.
After the end of this scam was reached that Ryan was cleared off this penalty of suspension in 50 games, many was ecstatic.
This is not only because of MVP getting its name cleared and having people fait back again in the sanctity of the game, but also because Braun seemed to the perfect to be picked from the last season of MVP. He was the one who was adding shine and spark to the game and seemed to be getting the team closer to Championship of National League.
If anyone has still anymore doubts on the matter of Ryan’s innocence, then youtube’s video of statements clear a lot of doubts as he seemed very convincing on the matter.
It looks pretty clear that he was part of a conspiracy theory which is proved when the person who was to deliver his samples to the laboratory was actually a disturbed fan of Cubs trying to set up Braun. It was these logical arguments that the outfielder made which cleared him off from this case and the consequential penalty.
Braun’s last test showed an extremely elevated testosterone levels which are approx 20 times higher than normal (apparently the highest in MLB’s history of drug testing program). During the whole season’s game in 2011, he was tested thrice where he passed. Neither do his stats go way up which would make people suspect that he was on drugs. They were just normal ones which didn’t show any boosting.
As an example you can talk of an average or a below average kid who generally gets Cs or Ds in his tests. Suppose he suddenly gets a straight A or 100% marks then that could get the teacher suspicious that there seems to be something wrong with him all of a sudden scoring so well.
Braun was a star player and he didn’t perform anything that was out of his league of achievement. He seems to be clean and his fans sure hope that he doesn’t have to see any more speed breakers in the future.
