Canadian wrestler banned for anabolic steroids

Colin Daynes; a Canadian wrestler has been banned from playing for two years for doping. He failed a doping test by testing positive to four different steroids; anabolic steroids, a diuretic and an estrogen receptor modulator. He accepted his predicament and did not dare to challenge the results. He had a right of appeal but did not take it up, instead he has decided to wait for the two years to come and go as he has been banned.  The steroids he has been tested for are common and the main function is to increase the physical power of the muscles of the user. They will increase the testosterone supply in the muscles of the user. This hormone is mostly common in men but in little supply among women. It is the main reason women are physically weaker than men. The use of testosterone-based steroids will increase the muscle mass of the user and this will mean a lot of strength. Most of them will do so by increasing the amount of nitrogen in the body of the user which will aid in the intake of protein. This will result in the increase in muscle mass in the upper and lower parts of the body of the user. Your muscles will increase in size but this comes with a lot of watery muscles that will slow the user as the quality of muscles may decrease. Sometimes, the intake of steroids may lead to a person increasing weight, so much so that a person (a competitor in this case) gets out of his weight class and is not able to compete. This is where the diuretic comes in. it is used to reduce the water in the muscles of the user temporarily, so that the person is able to stay within the weight limit he wants before the weigh-in. however, the use of diuretics becomes an issue since they are very powerful on the liver and should never be used for a long time in large quantities. It is perhaps the reason Colin Daynes used steroids. The work of an estrogen receptor modulator is to reduce the side effects of the anabolic steroids, which according to the specific chemical makeup of the steroids will differ in the extent of the effects. Some will have extreme effects than others; but they are more or less the same types of effects. Some effects include watery muscles and tiredness. The extreme use of anabolic steroids includes aromatization, the change of testosterone to estrogen, which can lead to gynecomastia and Virilization in men and women respectively. The work of the latter steroids is to reduce   the potential side effects of anabolic steroids. It is expected that Colin will be back by December 18^th 2013.
